The office of the Aathabis Municipality is located in Rakam Karnali, Dailekh district, Karnali Province of Nepal. Aathabis Municipality is surrounded by Thantikandh Rural Municipality on the East, Achham District on the West, Achham and Kalikot district on the North and Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality on the South. The total area of the Aathabis Municipality is 168 square kilometers (65 sq mi) and the population density of this municipality is 170/km2 (450/sq mi). This municipality is divided into 9 wards. Aathbis Municipality is one of the largest municipality on the basis of population and Geography.
