At a Glance Chaurjahari Municipality
Chaurjahari Municipality is the one of the municipality of Rukum west of karnali province. The total area of the municipality is 107square kilometres and the total population of the municipality as of 2011 Nepal census is 27,438 individuals. The municipality is divided into total 14 wards. The municipality was established on 18 September 2015 merging Kotjaahri and Bijeshori Village development committee. Afer new Nepal's consttutuin again merged Priveous VDCs Kholagaun, Nuwakot (excluded ward no3) and Purtimkanda ( 4,5 &9). Chaurjahari Municipality is surrounded by Tribeni Rural Municipality on the East and Jajarkot district on the West, Sanibheri Rural Municipality on the North, and Salyan district on the South.
