At a Glance Chingad Rural Municipality
Chingad Rural Municipality lies in the North Eastern part of Surkhet District. This Municipality comprises of Rajena, Ranibas, Matela, Pamka and Awalching Village Development Committees and is divided into six wards as per current federal structure. Ward 1 consist of Rajena VDC, ward 2 of Ranibas, ward 3 and 4 of Matela, ward 5 of Awalching and ward 6 of Pamka with the coverage of 170.1 square kilometer in areas and known to best suit for livestock and Agricultural opportunities. Majority of its population living in this area belong to Brahmin, Chhetri and Magar community. The current hub of the Municipality is located in ward 5 in Awalching VDC.
