At a Glance Duduwa Rural Municipality
Among the eight municipalities of Banke District Lumbini Province, Duduwa is one of the rural municipality which extends to the boundaries Nepal-India, is a native village. It is named after Duduwa Nala. This RM has been established by integrating Sawik's Komdi, Holia, Bethani, Banakatti and Hiramnia VDC
This rural municipality which is economically viable, naturally rich and diverse in socio-cultural is located in the Terai region of Nepal. It is bordered by Narainpur Municipality and India in the southeast, RaptiSonari Municipality in the northeast, Kohlpur municipality on the north and Nepalgunj suburban municipality in the west. Its total area is 91.1 sq km and has six wards. The municipality centre office is located at Bankati.
