It comprises the former 4 VDCs ; Sari, Jogda, Bishnupura and Suryapura. The area of this Rural Municipality is 96.69 sq km. There is total 9 ward in this Rural municipality. This Rural municipality is bounded by Shuddhodhan and Mayadevi VDCs in the east, Kapilvastu district in the west, Kanchan VDC and Sainamaina Municipality in the north.
