At a Glance Gulariya Municipality
Gulariya municipality situated in the headquarters of Bardiya District in the Bheri Zone of south-western Nepal. Gulariya Municipality was declared in 2073 BS. Municipality is located in the Terai region and is located at an altitude of 145 m above sea level and near the southern border with the Bahraich district, Uttar Pradesh state of India. It is 35 kilometers west of Nepalgunj city. The mother tongue for the older residents is still Awadhi and Tharu language.
