At a Glance Khatyad Rural Municipality
Khatyad Rural Municipality is situated to the south of Soru rural Municipality & Humla, to the east of Bajura, to the west of Chhayanath Rara Municipality and to the north of Kalikot and Jumla. This municipality has an area of 281 sq KM which elevates from 1201 to 6717m from sea level. This municipality is famous itenary for the travelers from Khaptad National park to Rara Natinal Park similarly Herni Mai, Primitive Palace in Kota, Henni and Chhote are most famous area for tourism of this municipality. This rural municipality teems with wide diversity of flora and fauna like red panda, Lophophorus, pheasants, taxus baccata etc.
