At a Glance Kotahimai Rural Municipality
Kotahimai Rural Municipality is lies in the Southern site of Rupandehi District. Previous six Village Deploment Committee (VDCs) namely Sipawa, Sarkranpakadi,Maryadpur, Majhgaun and Bogadi are in this Rural Municipality and the name of this Municiplaity is named from Bhagwati temple which is in the Birghat place of this RM. Total area of the Rural Municipality is 58.26 square kilometers. According to the Census Report (preliminary) 2078, total population of the Kotahimai is 46,417 of which 50.7 percent represent male and remaining 49.3 percent represent Female.
