At a Glance Mudkechula Rural Municipality
Mudkechula Rural Municipality was established in 2017 (2073 BS) as a local government of Nepal. The rural municipality is divided into total 9 wards and the headquarters of Mudkechula Rural Municipality is located in Narku, Dolpa of Nepal. The total area of the Mudkechula Rural Municipality is 250.08 square kilometers and density is 25/km2 (65/sq mi).
Mudkechula Rural municipality was incorporated on 10 March 2017 (Falgun 27, 2073 BS) fulfilling the requirement of the Constitution of Nepal 2015 (2072 BS). Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoFAGA) replaced all old VDCs and Municipalities into 753 new local level bodies. Narku, Kalika, Ela and Sharmi Village development committees (VDCs) were incorporated to form this Gaunpalika.
Mudkechula Rural municipality is surrounded by Jagadulla Rural Municipality on the north, Jajarkot District on the south, Jajarkot and Rukum district on the east and Jumla District on the Western part.
