Out of 9 municipalities of Kalikot district, Naraharinath rural municipality is one of the RM of the district. The total area occupied by the RM is 143.86 sq km. The rural municipality is divided into 9 wards. Achham district lies in east of the RM while Sanni Tribeni RM lies in the west. Similarly, Bajura district lies in north and Khandachakra municipality including Dailekh district on south of the RM. The rural municipality is named after the famous saint Yogi Naraharinath who was born there.
