At a Glance Patarasi Rural Municipality
Patarasi Rural Municipality was established in 2017 (2073 BS) as a local government of Nepal. The headquarters of the Patarasi Gaunpalika is located in Dillichaur, Jumla district, Karnali Province of Nepal. Patarasi Gaunpalika is surrounded by Dolpa District on the East, Chandannath Municipality and Kanakasundari Rural Municipality on the West, Mugu district on the North, and Guthichaur Rural Municipality on the South.
The total area of the Patarasi Rural Municipality is 814.07 square kilometers (314.31 sq mi). The density of this rural municipality is 18/km2 (46/sq mi). This Rural municipality is divided into 5 wards. Dillichaur, Patmara, Chhumchaur and Patarasi Village development committees (VDCs) were incorporated to form Patarasi Gaunpalika.
