At a Glance Sammarimai Rural Municipality
Sammarimai Rural municipality is one of the 10 village municipalities of Rupandehi district in Lumbini Province, Nepal. Sammarimai has total 7 wards, which are scattered across 51 square kilometers of geographical area. According to the Census 2078 (preliminary report), Sammarimai Rural Municipality had total population of 43300, of which 21,691 are male and 21,609 are female. This RM is adorned with natural, geographical, cultural and scenic beauty along the Marchwari village in the east, Lumbini Cultural Municipality in the west, Kothamai village in the north and the Danav River flowing northwest within the Uttar Pradesh border of India in the south.
Seven public health facilities, namely, BHSC-01 Sammarimai, Karauta HP, Thumhawa Piprahawa HP, Farena HP, Roinihawa HP, Asurena HP and Betakuiya HP are providing basic health services in Sammarimaai.
