At a Glance Sharada Municipality
Sharada Municipality is one of the municipality of Salyan district which lies in Karnali province. Total area of this municipality is 198.38 sq km. In the north of this municipality there lies Siddhakumakh rural municipality, in the west Bangad Kupinde Municipality , north Chattreshwori, Tribeni and Kalimati Rural municipality whereas in the east there lies Chhatreshwori Rural municipality and Bagchaur Municipality. This municipality comprises of previous seven VDCs of Salyan District i.e. Khalanga, Marke, Hiwalcha, Kajeri, Sajeltakura, Syanikhal and Dadagau. The name of this Municipality is named after the river Sharada which flows in the middle of the municipality.
